It consisted of Julius Holtz as treasurer, Emil Jacobsen and Otto Witt (who would collaborate on the humorous songs to be sung at the banquet), Carl Martius, Carl Scheibler, and Hermann Wichelhaus—all members of the executive committee of the DCG.
