Chrominance ampHtudes in 100% bars exceed the maximum amplitude that should be transmitted via NTSC. Therefore, 75% ampHtude color bars, with no chrominance information exceeding 100 IRE, are the standard ampHtude bars for conventional television. (If you use quarter A4 s, glue a coloured flag to the top right corner sticking up, so that the cards can be found back easily).
