Thermoplastic polyester elastomers are class of engineering materials which combine elasticity of conventional vulcanized rubbers with processing efficiency of thermoplastics. Commercial grades of TPEEs are available in the range of Shore D hardness values from 32D to 82D. Some special grades contain UV stabilizer, heat stabilizer, flame retardant or hydrolysis resistant additives. They are processed by most conventional techniques, such as extrusion. 

This is a well-known technique with NBRs to improve heat and ozone resistance and works quite well with HNBRs as well. As one might expect, the EPDM improves low-temperature flexibility and weather resistance while giving some sacrifice in resistance to swelling in hydrocarbon fluids. Generally, 10-20 phr of EPDM elastomer with medium to high third monomer content to give efficient vulcanization will give improvements in low-temperature flexibility and weather resistance without... 

Several reviews are devoted to SANS applications to TPEs and block copolymers [113,114] and almost 300 reports describe SANS studies of block copolymers. As far as TPEs are concerned, it is a very valuable technique, particularly efficient in the analysis of disorder in the melt [115] or of macroscopic phase separation [116] it is also used in blends [117,118] and in processing operations, such as dynamic vulcanization [119] or co-molding [120].
