Venus retrograde

The sidereal orbital period is the mean time for one revolution about the Sun relative to the fixed stars. The tropical orbital period is the mean time for one orbit from the same point to itself (such as equinox to equinox). The time between Venus-Earth oppositions. Retrograde rotation. Median radius = 6,051.64 km, mean radius = 6,051.84 km. Model-dependent constraint from Yoder (1997). The temperature and pressure at the median and mean radii are 738.4 K, 94.5 bar and 736.8 K, 93.3 bar, respectively. 

It sounds bad, yet in reality, the effects are subtle. It seems to me that life is too short to worry excessively about this particular transit. In a strange way, I even find it comforting. For example, if your love life is less than spectacular — if it s nonexistent — then retrograde Venus gives you license to forget about it for a while and turn your mind to other matters. What a relief.

Sulfuric acid droplet in the dense cloud cover gives Venus a yellow appearance. Venus has a greater greenhouse effect than observed on Earth. The dense clouds Combined with carbon dioxide traps heat. Venus was named after the Roman goddess of love.
