Types of ACID FX

FX in ACID could be sorted a few different ways. In a very broad way, the FX can be divided into effects that repair or fix problems with audio files and FX that are used in more special and creative ways. There is quite a lot of overlap between these two categories, but it is still a useful distinction nonetheless. Table 7.1 gives you an idea of how FX can be categorized  

Notice that many plug- ins end up being included in more than one category.
