Two-stage ejector

Figures 6-5 and 6-6 illustrate two-stage ejector installations with barometric and surface t) pe inter-after condensers respectively. The discharge of the steam non-condensables from the second stage jet of Figure 6-5 is exhausted to the atmosphere, while in Figure 6-6 the steam is condensed in the aftercondenser and, essentially, only non-condensables leave the ent of the aftercondenser. Figure 6-7A indicates a diagram of a three-stage barometric type installation. Examination of Figure 23-9 will show how the pressure of water vapor in the load to the second stage will reduced the maximum dry air capacity of the two-stage ejector. [Pg.234]

For these individual strokes, normalized two-stage ejectors (Figure 2.39) are used that can automatically divide the ejection movement of the machine into two individual strokes. [Pg.369]

On the vapor outlet of steam turbine surface condensers, there is a two-stage ejector system and a two-stage condenser. Referring to Fig. 25.5, this two-stage condenser is actually a small condenser divided into two portions on the shell side by a partition baffle. [Pg.324]
