Triaminoboranes Containing One Boron Atom

The heterocyclic triaminoboranes of type 1 have been obtained by reacting the corresponding (B)Cl derivative with CH3NH2to give la or with [(C2H5)LiNSi(CH3)2-]2to give 1b [21]. 

The following triaminoborane derivatives of the general structure C9Hi8N-B(NRR )NHC4H9-f (2) have been obtained from reactions of the amino-iminoborane C9Hi8N-B=NC4H9-f with ammonia, amines, or hydrazine derivatives [22] or with carbonic amides (C9H 8N = 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl) [23]. 

Four-membered heterocycles of type 3 are produced from the reaction of C9Hi8N-B=NC4H9-f with CeHgNCS or S[NSi(CH3)3]2 however, 3a is obtained as a mixture of isomers [23]. 

6 F = 52.05 (relative to CCI3F). IR, Raman, and additional mass spectral data are reported [15].
