Translocation in ribosome

A poly(uridylic acid)-cellulose resin has been prepared by coupling poly-(uridylic acid) oxidized with periodate at one end to a hydrazide derivative of carboxymethylcellulose. The resin was used as a column-bound ribosome system in studies of translocation in ribosomes.
