Transitional arrangements

Packages not requiring competent authority approval of des n under the 1985 and 1985 (as amended 1990) edition of these Regulations 

The continued use of approved packages meeting the 1985 or 1985 (as amended 1990) edition of the Regulations is subject to multilateral approval after 31 December 2003, in order to permit the competent authorities to establish a framework within which continued use may be approved. Additionally, no new manufacture of such packagings is permitted to commence beyond 31 December 2006. These transition periods have been determined on the basis of an assessment of the time needed to incorporate the 1996 edition of the Regulations into national and international regulations. 

The competent authority should monitor specific facets associated with the design, manufacture and use of packagings within its compliance assurance programme (see para. 311). To verily adequate performance, the serial number of all packagings

Special form radioactive material manufactured to a design which had received unilateral approval by the competent authority under the 1973, 1973 (As Amended), 1985 or 1985 (As Amended 1990) Editions of these Regulations may continue to be used when in compliance with the mandatory programme of quality assurance in accordance with the applicable requirements of para. 306. All special form radioactive material manufactured after 31 December 2003 shall meet this Edition of the Regulations in full.

The third step involves the inclusion of prioritised substances in Annex XIV, which means that these substances are principally subject to authorization after expiry of specific transitional arrangements. Consequently, companies who want to use such a substance have to apply for an authorization (37, 38) unless the intended use is a priori exempted from authorization. 

Meanwhile, opiate seizures rose by 17 per cent in East Europe (defined as the European C.I.S. countries), which is supplied with Afghan opiates via Central Asia. Seizures in Central Asia declined by 38 per cent in 2005, mostly because of Tajikistan (down 51 per cent). Next to the above-listed four integration phases, there was also a so-called postclosure separation work stream, which covered the transition arrangements with Solutia (brand use, invoicing arrangements, building leases, etc.), as well as the restructuring of the legal entities. 

Procedures/responsibilities the intended HS E management structure for the merged group is outlined, but currently transitional arrangements are in place, and it is not clear what the reporting arrangements and accountabilities are within the current organisation.

Transitional arrangements to allow Member States to apply existing national controls to biocidal products containing existing active substances for up to 10 years till those substances are reviewed. 

Member States can only authorize the marketing and use of plant protection products after an active substance is listed in Annex I, except where transitional arrangements apply. 

Special transitional arrangements remain for products covered by existing Directives on roll-over and falling-object protective structures and industrial trucks and for safety components and machinery for lifting persons.

These new Regulations implement European Directive Vibration Directive 2002/44/EC. They came into force in July 2005 with some transitional arrangements for the exposure limits until 2010 (2014 for WBV (whole-body vibration) exposure limit value for agriculture and forestry sectors). 

To analyze the loss of mortar strength at elevated temperatures must be defined if the element is subjected to heating by steady state or transitional arrangements . 

For the analysis on transitional arrangements to a certain load is applied without heating element. The load remains constant while the element is heated in a controlled manner until failure occurs.
