Tolypocladium injlatum

Cyclosporin A (INN ciclosporin) is a cyclic, nonribosomally synthesized un-decapeptide from Tolypocladium injlatum (Fig. 2). Apart from its antifungal properties, it represents a potent immunosuppressive drug as it interferes with lymphokine production [99]. Cyclosporin A has been introduced into clinical use to prevent allograft rejection after organ transplants. [Pg.26]
