FloSeal (Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Fremont, CA, USA) consists of cross-linked gelatin granules and human thrombin (Thrombin-JMI , a sterile freeze-dried powder, Jones Pharma, Inc., Bristol, VA, USA). Bovine-derived gelatin is cross-linked with glutaraldehyde and ground to 500-600 pm sized particle.
