Tris(triethylphosphine)platinum was originally prepared by vacuum thermolysis 

The triisopropylphosphine analogue, Pt[P(/-Pr)3] 3, is obtained by reducing rra s-PtCl2[P(/-Pr)3] 2 with sodium amalgam in the presence of P(/-Pr)3s as described here. 

The properties of tris(triethylphosphine)platinum(0) are described with those of tris(triisopropylphosphine)platinum(0).
