Threat response

Data enrichment currently only deals with host information and vulnerability assessment information, although additional sources are under investigation, such as the Cisco Threat Response (CTR) technology1 that provides on-the-spot scan ability for IDS alert assessment. Both functions are presented in greater detail in Section 5.

Counterterrorism security group An interagency body convened on a regular basis to develop terrorism prevention policy and to coordinate threat response and law enforcement investigations associated with terrorism. 

Whatever the reason for the bomb threat, there will certainly be a reaction to it. Through proper planning, the wide variety of potentially uncontrollable reactions can be greatly reduced. The individual in charge of responding to a bomb threat must be someone who will be available 24 hours a day. In addition, all personnel who will be involved in the bomb threat response must be trained in how to handle these situations.
