Thermal properties of hydrogen storage materials

So far in this chapter we have described the sorption of hydrogen in reversible hydrogen storage materials as being a significant challenge in heat transfer. 

In this section, we will explore the modes of heat transfer that the system designer must learn to accommodate to design an efficient hydrogen storage system. 

1 Thermal conductivity of a hydrogen storage packed particle bed 

There are a total of six modes of heat transfer within the bulk metal hydride packed particle structure as described in Oi et al. [9]
