Thermal Analysis in the Study of Polymer Bio -degradation

In this woric, we investigate the rheological and degradation properties of bio-derived polymers at typical processing conditions. We employ toth shear and extensional rheology, and couple these results with GPC, thermal analysis, and NMR techniques to probe the de adation of the polymers. We study both the pure PLA and PHA polymers as well as blends of the two polymers. [Pg.2149]
