The hrst report from the pilot project in 2001 initiated a series which has developed into annual studies of risk trends. Through further systematic development of methods and base data, these reports helped employers, unions and government to monitor trends in risk level in the industry through their established tripartite collaboration. The reports also made an important contribution to a joint understanding of changes in risk levels and thereby also identification of measures to improve the level of risk and analyse the effects of corrective actions taken by the responsible parties. [Pg.265]
