The implicit learning axiom

A (2+1 2) search can only be assumed in a repeated task if the preceding task had used a (2+2 2) search. [Pg.181]

This axiom states that if a pathway uses fast mode, all subsequent pathways of this kind of task have to use fast mode too. Implicit learning is not reversible in the time between the first series and the second series. For example if a subject uses fast mode in the task al IrINA then all subsequent tasks a22rINA, al IrINB, a22rINB, allrINC, a22rINC etc. have to use fast mode, too. [Pg.181]

In some cases, the implicit learning axiom is not fulfilled. In these cases, mistakes either of first peak recognition or of median computation can be found. In [Pg.181]

The number of double searches or triple searches has not been established yet. [Pg.182]

Investigating patients with a defined (by CT or MRI) monohemispheric brain lesion has advantages for the present study. The reaction time data of these patients are well suited to test the proposed equations and evaluate their asymmetries caused by the brain lesion. [Pg.183]

The implicit learning axiom demands slow mode in al lrH12B and fast mode in allrH12C3... [Pg.104]

The irreversibility of the searching mode (the implicit learning axiom)... [Pg.118]

Either al 11H19B must be slow mode or a22lH19B must be fast mode. The above results are not compatible with the implicit learning axiom. [Pg.160]

The slow mode of a22rH28C violates the implicit learning axiom, therefore (4 + 1) was taken. [Pg.166]

Either vl lrS06B has to use slow mode or v22rS06B has to use fast mode in order to fulfil the implicit learning axiom. [Pg.217]

The initial chapters presents the convergence tables of the FPM results for each of the healthy subjects, and the collection of equations for this control group. Then, the statistics of these equations is presented with the symmetries of elementary times and pathways, the implicit learning axiom and variations of the searching process like double search and triple search. [Pg.353]

Is is forbidden (implicit learning axiom) that a fast mode of a previous task becomes a slow mode in the subsequent task (in the sequence xlly, x22y, x33y). The reverse case is possible. [Pg.147]

The structures in italic script are incompatible with the implict learning axiom which states the irreversibility of implicit learning in short periods. [Pg.149]
