The fatal consequence of backlog

In this chapter, I will prove that backlog tolerated in process planning blinds you to the actual load of your resources. Have you ever encountered symptoms similar to the following  

How can this happen The cause is the recurring backlog in the performance processing planning and thereby also in the practical process. You will see this appraised in the light of strict logic. 

Imagine a simple order described in Fig. 27 as a supply chain. 

The length of the boxes symbolizes the throughput times in the workplaces (less than 5% of the throughput times are processing times) and the procurement periods. You can see that several processes lie in the past. 

If you allow these past processes to exist in the planning system, simple logic will already tells us
