The Co-Emergent Mother

The yogin. . . should regard them with exalted regard, veneration and devotion, looking upon the Devatas [i.e., the visualised deities] as real, holy and divine. They are none the less so because mind-produced, for the Mind ultimately is That, and its ideas, forms of That. [Pg.107]

The visualizations of the various practices may seem needlessly complex to the uninstructed. However, the various details are essentially to assure that the normally free-ranging consciousness remains engaged within the psychic region under focus for regeneration. The details of the visualizations are in fact safety nets. Consciousness can flicker between two objects, literally, at the speed of thought. The mental constructions, the thought-forms, we build in our practices are like the reins of a chariot drawn by powerful horses. The reins control, direct, and harness the motive power. [Pg.107]

It is by the thought-building quality of consciousness that humans formulate and perceive their own unique world. Each perception of the universe is ultimately subjective. Although consensual reality is a strong determinant, there is also an element of mass hysteria in our reactions to experience, as well as an element of mass hypnosis in our perceptions. We, and the worlds we construct, are the stuff of dreams, as Shakespeare put it. We mold this stuff of dreams using our mental [Pg.107]

The Path of Return—Vajrayana, or Alchemy—entails accelerated evolution and, therefore, accelerated karmic exhaustion. So it is said that a certain ripeness is necessary before undertaking the Great Work. [Pg.108]

Within the Nuptial Chamber of the secret temple of Yod resides an image of the Black Isis. She is the veiled or concealed one, the Co-Emergent Mother of the Alchemical Qabalah. [Pg.116]

You give reverence to the Co-Emergent Mother and to the holy Child she nurtures. Then, still escorted by the Elven Queen and the Regent, you follow Menes around the reused dais and, entering beneath the phoenix-blazoned shield, pass into the hallowed peace of the chapel. [Pg.207]

The interpretation of the results of experiments performed in recent years has yielded contradictory conclusions as to the sources and the mechanisms of contamination buildup. A th one exception, the measures taken on the basis of these results have not resulted in a clear success on the contrary, in some cases a deterioration of the situation has resulted. The question as to the reasons for such consequences emerges and it seems that the failure of many attempts has mainly been due to the fact that only macrochemical aspects (e. g. effect of pH and temperature on the solubility of the corrosion product oxides) have been taken into consideration. In reality, because of the very low mass concentrations of the essential radionuclides and their mother elements in the coolant, severe deviations in behavior from that of macroamounts are to be expected, an effect which is well known in radiochemistry. In particular, in the behavior of Co and Co trace-chemical mechanisms such as surface adsorption onto oxide particles, co-precipitation together with other elements, as well as ion exchange and isotope exchange with other constituents of the corrosion product oxides can be assumed to play an important role, but in most of the investigations performed up to now these have not been considered. [Pg.251]
