Throughout this book, there are many computer-based exercises to supplement the text by practicing on the virtual extrusion line in The Blown Film Extrusion Simulator. The reader is encouraged to take a break from the text when encountering these exercises to spend time practicing a skill or better comprehending a concept. 

In addition to the hands-on exercises provided throughout the book, this appendix includes a worksheet developed to successfully integrate the simulator into college-level plastics courses. By asking questions that move from basic principles to more difficult concepts, the worksheet will help readers use the simulator to develop a deeper level of comprehension of the system and its behavior.
