2 Terpenoids and Terpenoid Derivatives as Structurally Specific Agents 

Apart from Vinblastine, Vincristine, Mecamylamine, Trimethidinium and AUoferin which were discussed in connection with their clinical implications in Section 2, a number of terpenoids and terpenoid derivatives would seem to be of a sufficient degree of structural specificity to warrant individual discussion, although, as already emphasised, the lack of any absolute distinction between structurally specific and structurally non-specific drugs makes this more a matter of convenience than one of fundamental distinction.
