Temperature ambient, test parameter, effect

Effects resulting from changes in flow rate, fluid quality, fluid pressure level, ambient temperature, humidity, sunlight, or test section geometry on heat transfer were not detectable in the present test program. It is therefore concluded that the effects of these parameters on heat transfer to uninsulated liquid-hydrogen transfer lines is negligible relative to the effects of those parameters (e.g., wind and vibration) which affect the character of the condensate on the outside surface.
