Task 2 Collaborative Relationships Initiatives

A number of possible initiatives support development of collaborative relationships. These should be viewed as essential building blocks for other initiatives. Most aggressive programs that fail do so because organization and performance measurements don t match the desired direction for the business. [Pg.295]

Organization structure Covers changes to the structure in advance of process improvements. Includes the plan for Front line Teams for action plan implementation. [Pg.295]

Performance measures Action plans to change measures throughout the organization. [Pg.295]

Implementation resources Plans for managing implementation of all the initiatives. [Pg.295]

Cost management Implements new methods for measuring cost for internal measurement, pricing, or strategic decisionmaking. [Pg.295]


Task 2, Implementing Collaborative Relationships, deals with internal structural issues. Example of initiatives in this area are organization structure and performance measures. While these can be difficult in terms of gaining acceptance from employees, they are less likely to involve new systems or facilities.
