Talents making money

Professional athletes are commonly paid millions of dollars every year, making far more money than the average person will ever see in an entire lifetime, including myself. Do they earn it There is little question that they worked hard to reach their level of skill and are extraordinarily talented at what they do, but in a world where people like teachers, social workers, and other community workers can hardly make ends meet, the fairness of their salaries is decidedly debatable. 

I like to watch sports. I appreciate the talent thatgoes into being able to play like that. Of course, if I could make the much money doing it, I would be willing to practice a little more often myself. Then I could make too much money and people could complain alot about me. 

The answers, at least in this situation, were irrelevant. And this afflicts more entrepreneurs than I care to admit. This author didn t believe, or couldn t see, drat she was in business and that she was in business to serve. She thought she was just a writer and that was that. The truth is, we are never just painters, or just IT consultants, or just mothers or fathers, or just bookbinders. We re here to be of service to more than just oinselves, to improve the lives of others in any way we can, preferably with our skills and talents. The more people we can be of service to, die more money we make. It s that simple. 

I strongly counsel the extremely bright and creative engineers to not necessarily assume that they have to be a big boss to make a lucrative salary and to have a substantive influence. In fact, if someone is extremely talented technically, it will be far easier for them to have a major influence and make good money by staying on the technical track. 

The estimating and reporting of uncertainties in quantities you measure is often very important. Decisions to commit money, talent, and time to a particular plan may be based on your numbers. Your reported uncertainties give others a sense of the confidence they can place in the conclusions they draw from your results, and improves the odds of making good decisions. When you record data, you rarely know what decisions will be made on the basis of those data, so it is important that you report the uncertainty of the data for all data you record.
