The clinic to be open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons for needle/syringe exchange, counselling for HIV and all health aspects. 

Each client will also be seen on an individual basis, in an adjoining room to where the needle/syringe exchange will take place. There will also be the opportunity for individual counselling at this point. 

All clients in the needle/syringe exchange scheme will have the following information recorded details of contacts, syringes issued and returned, any treatment given and illness episodes.

Data show high prevalence of hepatitis C in Europe, even in countries with low rates of HIV infection.
