Synthesis of Polyamides from Diols and Diamines

I 1 Catalysis by Pincer Complexes Synthesis of Esters, Amides, and Peptides 

While Guan et al. disclosed the preparation of a variety of polyamides, many bearing ether spacers, with in the range of 10-30kDa, we reported the application of the amidation reaction to the synthesis of a variety of polyamides not bearing ether spacers, from simple diols and diamines, under different conditions.
