Summary A Planning List

It is said that a well-formulated question contains half the answer. By the same token, a well-planned study is the key to the success of the study. The following list of planning stages is suggested and is given as a summary of the present chapter  

Collect all available data (geographical, hydrological, geological, temperatures, chemical and isotopic compositions, time variations, and so on). 

Develop a conceptual model, or several possible models, suggested by previous and new workers, based on the available data.
