Sulfur-containing diketopiperazine

Some other sulfur-containing diketopiperazine derivatives related to gliotoxin were isolated from other strains of marine-derived fungi. 5-Hydroxyramulosin, came from the culture of the species Phoma tropica harvested from Fucus spiralis (Osterhage et al, 2002), and a new dioxopi-perzine was isolated from a Korean strain of the genus Pseudallescheria associated with the cold-water laminaria-ceae Agarum cribosum (Li et al, 2006).
