Sulfonamide ethoxylates

Recently, an aqueous solution of perfluoroalkyl sulfonamide ethoxylate, QF,7S02N (C3H7)(C2H40)ioH, designated as QF17EO10 having a medium chain length (Cg)... [Pg.4]

Celecoxib (57) and rofecoxib (58) are marketed COX-2 inhibitors. Celecoxib has a relatively poor B/P ratio of 0.1 compared to refecoxib, which has a B/P ratio of 0.8. Presumably, changing from the sulfonamide to the methyl sulfone removes a hydrogen bond donor and allows for belter brain penetration. Keeping the methyl sulfone intact, a new pyrazolo[l,5-b]pyradazine COX-2 inhibitor (59) has been developed which shows an enhanced B/P ratio of 1.5. The ethoxyl and new pyrazolo[l,5-b]pyradazine moieties help lower logP and allow for better brain penetration. [Pg.717]

More than 115 molecular stractures were found in international industrial blends of food packaging (paper and board). They belong to the groups of mono-PFAPs, di-PFAPs, S-diPAPs, polyfluoroalkyl-ethoxylates, polyfluoroalkyl-acrylates, polyflu-oroalkyl-amino acids, polyfluoroalkyl-sulfonamide phosphates, and thioacids, some... [Pg.324]

April 5, 1972 (Cl. 430/343 430/524 430/531 430/538). Appl. 99,512, December 18, 1970, 15 pp. Improved photosensitive compositions comprising A. an acid salt of a leuco aminotriarylmethane such as tris(4-N,N-diethylamino-o-tolyl)methane B. a hexaarylbiimidazole such as a 2,2 -bis(o-chloro-phenyl)-4,4 5,5 -tetraphenylbiimidazole and C. a redox couple containing (1) as an oxidant a polynuclear quinone absorbing principally in the 400-550 nm region such as 1,6-pyrenequinone, and (2) as a reductant an acyl ester of triethanolamine such as triethanolamine triacetate optionally mixed with a lower alkyl ester of a nitrilotrialkanoic acid such as 3,3, 3"-nitrilotripropionic acid, trimethyl ester are effective color forming compositions useful in a variety of applications. The need for an effective plasticizer system was solved by the addition of sulfonamides and ethoxylated phenol derivatives. [Pg.83]
