Sulfarsenic acid

But other sulfo acids, such as sulfarsenic acid, H AsS, are stable, and are of use in analytical chemistry and in chemical industry,... [Pg.487]

In the systematic scheme of qualitative analysis, tellurium is precipitated as free tellurium, along with the basic and acid sulfides, when the hydrochloric acid solution is treated with hydrogen sulfide. If the precipitate is digested with yellow ammonium sulfide, the tellurium, together with arsenic, antimony and tin sulfides, goes into solution as a sulfosalt. Since solutions of alkali sulfarsenate, sulfantimonate, and sulfostannate are not affected by the addition of alkali sulfite, tellurium can thus be detected in the presence also of arsenic, antimony, and tin. [Pg.473]
