Suggestions for Further Work

A great deal of experimental and theoretical work has been done on acyl heterocycles, as will also appear from the account given in this article. Nevertheless, we believe that a number of points are worth deeper investigation, and attention has not yet been given to aspects of more than marginal importance. We offer the following suggestions for further work in this area. 

The use of photon correlation spectroscopy to study the dynamics of concentration fluctuations in polymer solutions and gels is now well established. In bulk polymers near the glass transition there will be slowly relaxing fluctuations in density and optical anisotropy which can also be studied by this technique. In this article we review the development of the field of photon correlation spectroscopy from bulk polymers. The theory of dynamic light scattering from pure liquids is presented and applied to polymers. The important experimented considerations involved in the collection and analysis of this type of data are discussed. Most of the article focuses on the dynamics of fluctuations near the glass transition in polymers. All the published work in this area is reviewed and the results are critically discussed. The current state of the field is summarized and many suggestions for further work are presented.

The plan of the artiele is as follows. In the 2 we discuss the detailed model. In 3 we explain the mrmerieal algorithm used to investigate the system. In 4 explain the parameters whose time-dependenee we monitor in order to investigate the system. The results of our study are presented in 5. Finally in 6 we draw some brief eonelusions and make suggestions for further work. 

Since our first meeting with the Corps of Engineers and the EPA, there has been a continual denial of suggestions for further work. With respect to the District of Columbia s initial report, the Corps summarily denied 58 of the 59 points covered. Many of the District s theories, including the likelihood of ordnance burial sites and arsenic contamination, have now been clearly demonstrated. In fact, the DOD now characterizes AUES as the worst defense site in the country.
