As the viewer wears a pair of glasses made of left- and right-handed circular polarizers respectively, the left and right eye images are directed to the corresponding eye in the time sequence. Using this method, the full resolution of the screen is preserved, the glasses are inexpensive passive polarizers, but the flat panel frame rate has to be doubled. [Pg.546]
