Steam Lines and Candidate Materials

Due to the higher steam density, only two small steam Unes are needed for the large size Super LWRs compared with four lines for LWRs of comparable power, which further reduces the capital cost of the Super LWRs. 

As for the material selection for steam piping lines, the experiences with supercritical FPPs can be referred and some development of this issue can be found in Appendix A of this book.
