Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS

Statistical Methods. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), version 8 (10, 11) was used for all statistical analyses. All data were entered into a permanent file and verified prior to statistical analyses. 

A descriptive statistics was used to study the features of the entire signal. The Wilcoxon Rank Sum was used to examine the differences between the two postures. The significant level was set at p<0.05. The data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 14.0.

In this study stage was used Microsoft Office Excel and IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software (SPSS) version 20 for Windows .

The software Microsoft Excel for Windows and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 12.0 (SPSS) were used to create a database and to conduct statistical analysis. Measures of central tendency and dispersion were used to describe data, with means and standard deviations for quantitative variables. The Student t test for paired samples was used for comparisons between groups. The level of significance was established at p<0.05. 

The statistical analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows 22.0 of Microsoft . Because it is a small sample (N = 13) in the evaluation of sEMG and dynamometry, nonparametric tests (Wilcoxon test) were used. The significance level used was 5% (p = 0.05).
