Special Non-Standardized Test Methods

In addition to the conventional test procedures discussed above there are a number of emerging characterization techniques that have not yet attained the status of standardized test methods. These methods are generally used in the research laboratory, but they can also be very useful in practical problems with plastic foams, particularly in assessing thermal stability and in quality control.
