SOME REMARKS ON SAMPLE PREPARATIONS FOR VOLTAMMETRIC MEASUREMENTS 

The biological matrix must be completely destroyed, and the resulting reaction products should be removed from the solution as completely as possible. 

The concentration of the substance being determined should not be changed, i.e., either by loss or contamination. 

The residue after mineralization must be completely soluble. 

The metal being determined should be present in suitable form for the analysis, and any excess of reagents remaining from the digestion should not interfere with the determination step (e.g., oxidizing agents and acids).
