Slush casting application

The liquid nature of the plastisol system is the key to its ready application. The plastisol maybe spread onto a cloth, paper, or metal substrate, or otherwise cast or slushed into a mold. After coating or molding, heat is applied, which causes the PVC resin particles to dissolve in the plasticizer and form a cohesive mass, which is, in effect, a solid solution of polymer in plasticizer.
