Due to the limited applicability of in silico SAR approaches for developmental toxicity, there is more reliance on in vitro screening. From what has been publicly disclosed, it is evident that the four in vitro tests used for industrial screening are chick embryonic neural retina (CENR) micromass culture, whole embryo culture (WEC, rodent or rabbit), and mouse embryonic stem cells (EST). Recently, there has been significant interest within the pharmaceutical industry in the use of zebrafish for developmental toxicity testing,30 but because this aspect is in its infancy, there is little that has been publicly disclosed except limited abstracts and slide decks at several workshops.31 Although reviewed in considerable detail elsewhere,30-32 36 each test will be briefly compared and contrasted here.

You can tell a story in many ways. Customers and prospects consume stories in many ways, too. Some may enjoy reading an ebook cover to cover others might consume information visually through an infographic or a slide deck. If you only create ebooks, you ll reach some of your potential buyers, but never those who delete ebooks whenever they appear in their email.

Reports/ebooks Take a report or an ebook you create and turn it into a visual asset such as an infographic or a visual slide deck using the same content. Reports lend themselves well to visual content because they tend to have a lot of great data points. Ebooks should tell a story, so take that story and craft a visual slide deck. Figure 6-8 shows an excimple of how something like this can be approached. 

Social media is a great place to promote all of your content, the big and the small pieces. Social media is also where you want to promote your visual pieces like infographics cmd visual slide decks. Videos also perform exceptionally well on social chcmnels. 

You can upload slide decks, infographics, ebooks, webinars, and more onto the SlideShare platform. Because it s built as a social network for information sharing, you should treat it as an educational community. SlideShare also features popular assets on their home page for additional exposure. 

You should strive to have a slide deck created for SlideShare about once per quarter. Not only because the quality of leads from SlideShare are so strong, but also because you can take an asset and, by repurposing the content in a visual way, give it additional lift. 

For instance, Marketo created an ebook a couple of years ago called Amplify Your Impact How to Multiply the Effects of Your Inbound Marketing Programs. The ebook did pretty well, with more than 13,000 views. Marketo then created a visual slide deck from the same content, which got 339,000 views on SlideShare — a pretty significant amount. The result was 4,482 new leads from this asset and 8,519 total downloads of the ebook. Marketo spent 4,620 developing the visual content, which amounted to a cost of about 1 per new lead.

Now that you have your event leads in your marketing automation system, add them to a lead nurture track. You can create an event-specific nurture track that, over time, sends leads correspondence relating to the event such as slide decks, blog posts, and any other content you created. 

Test different content types. Do your leads prefer visual assets like slide decks, or are they sticking to your ebooks ... 

Every company should have a mix of content that they are creating. Your mix should range from the more serious industry reports to the fun stuff. Marketo thinks of the fun stuff as chocolate cake content. This could be a fun infographic, a visual slide deck, or simply a few fun blog posts.

Up till now the parties had been mainly private affairs. James who DJ d as Mr Hyde set up his decks and played, Stash helped Billy with the invitations, Fred installed rudimentary lighting as well as a slide carousel with Bee. Bee also offered a show with Bella or another mistress from Utopia. Turkish Jim Billy the Professor and James paraded in costume amongst the guests, absolutely everybody dressed up and danced. The thing about these parties was that although they were invite-only family affairs the numbers grew each time.
