Sildenafil Aspirin

Drugs that may interact with nitrates include alcohol, alteplase, aspirin, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, dihydroergotamine, heparin, nondepolarizing muscle relaxants, phenothiazines, phosphodiesterase inhibitors (eg, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil), and vasodilators. 

Bieeding disorders Sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil have no effect on bleeding time when taken alone or with aspirin.

Sildenafil inhibits phosphodiesterase isoenzyme type 5 in platelets, which theoretically could inhibit platelet aggregation. Although sildenafil has not caused bleeding in healthy subjects, it should be used cautiously in patients taking aspirin or other antiplatelet agents and in patients with bleeding tendencies. 

Sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil do not potentiate the increased bleeding time seen with aspirin. 

In a pharmacological study, sildenafil 50 mg did not potentiate the inerease in bleeding time seen with aspirin 150 mg. No additional precautions therefore seem neeessary on eoneurrent use.
