Shared counter

Figure 3 exhibits what would be perfect load balance for the finite example shown in Figure 2. The largest granularity tasks are done first, then the medium-grained ones finally, the smallest granularity tasks are used to balance the computation. Unfortunately, in many applications it is difficult to reorder the task generation algorithm to actually sequence the tasks in order of granularity. It may be difficult to predict a priori how long a given task will take. The concept of a shared counter can be used to load-balance this computation.

Adjacent activity zones may share a common length of worktop. Additional 300mm/72"to shared counter would cover both counters. 

Pemoline [2152-34-3] (24), stmcturally dissimilar to amphetamine or methylphenidate, appears to share the CNS-stimulating properties. As a consequence, pemoline is employed in the treatment of ADHD and of narcolepsy. There are several other compounds that are stmcturally related to amphetamines, although not as potent and, presumably, without as much abuse potential. These compounds also have anorexic effects and are used to treat obesity. Some of the compounds available are phentermine [122-09-8] fenfluramine [458-24-2] and an agent that is available over-the-counter, phenylpropanolamine [1483815-4] (26). 

All over the world, regional cooperation is essential. In 2007, UNODC looks forward to the opening of regional counter-narcotic information-sharing centres in Central Asia and the Gulf. The time is ripe to consider the creation of a similar mechanism to facilitate drug-related intelligence cooperation in South East Asia. 

Weak opioid Refers to a substance related to, or sharing the action of opium. They have a weak action, such as codeine (as opposed to the strong action provided by morphine), and are used for treating mild-to-moderate pain (some are available as over-the-counter products).
