Self-assembling of Random Crystalline-Amorphous Copolymers PEB

Self-assembling of Random Crystalline-Amorphous Copolymers (PEB-n) [Pg.63]

The aggregation features of the PEB- copolymers were examined as a function of Mw and polymer concentration by investigating fully protonated copolymers in d-decane over the temperature range between the single coil [Pg.63]

From the examination of the scattering patterns of PEB-11, the tendency toward a asymptote with the Flory exponent v = 0.6 observed at high Q appears to have only a very minor temperature dependence. Thus, though the polymers are aggregating, on a local scale the diffuse scattering from the monomer correlations within a swollen chain prevails, indicating very open rod structures with single chain structures on a local scale. The devi- [Pg.64]

The resulting values for the rod radii and the forward scattering (di7/dQ (Q = 0)) are listed in Table 5 for two volume fractions of PEB-11 in d-decane. [Pg.66]
