Selection of Polymers for Packaging

In this example, we see how selection criteria need not be entirely quantitative. Such properties as resistance to solvents and printability are important to the selection of polymers for certain applications, yet difficnlt to quantify.

Aesthetic properties snch as color, transparency, printability, scuff resistance 

In this section we combine the problem analysis with the materials selection process, since the materials have already been specified and we seek only to justify their selection.
