Occurrence. Sedoheptulose was found originally in Sedum spectabile, Bor, a common, herbaceous, perennial plant used for decorative purposes (121). It has since been detected in many of the succulent plants, and, indeed, as an intermediate of photosynthesis, it may be present to some extent in all green plants. [Pg.102]
