Sea Level at Landsort

1 Sea Level at Landsort in the ASCII file Land.sort.asc, daily sea level data from Landsort/Sweden were provided by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) with kind permission, provided on the CD. They cover the period 1897-2005. 

In the beginning the charts were manually/visually evaluated and tables with hourly values

Data from neighboring stations were compared in order to find if there were any wrong 

In Sweden, the National Land Survey of Sweden has made different kinds of precise levelings with different epochs and different zero datum. The latest one has ended with the new height system RH2000 with the zero point NAP (Deltawerken, 2004 Wikipedia, 2007). It is made according to EVRS 2000 (Ihde, 2004 EVRS, 2007) and in cooperation with the other Nordic countries (Norin, 2006).
