The major functions that the advanced MCR should have are said to be Advanced Alarm System, Group-View Display on which operators can share the same screen and information, Soft Control in which electronic control is feasible by using computer GUI screens. Computer-based Procedure System to execute procedures using computer screens, and Computerized Operator Support System/Advanced Communication System to assist in situational awareness and decision making of operators [O hara, 2002]. [Pg.1066]
