lactis IFO 1267 produced (R)-l,3-BDO with an ee of 93% from 4H2B and (S)-1,3-BDO with an ee of 99% from the racemate. C. parapsilosis IFO 1396, on the other hand, produced (S)-l,3-BDO with an ee of 94% from 4H2B and (R)-l,3-BDO with an ee of 97% from the racemate.
