In many of these experiments the NMR tube is pressurized on a high pressure line outside of the spectrometer, and then detached from the line for transferral to the NMR probe. Figure 3 shows a schematic diagram of the high pressure line used in our research, in which we use sapphire tubes with a titanium valve of a design similar to that of Horvath and Ponce [19].
