Sampling purpose

Many improvements have been made to streamline performance and to reduce machine operation labor. Some of these are tensionless jigs using variable speed electric motors with built-in drag for brakes, automatic reversing equipment, and automatic temperature and level controls. These machines are widely used for goods that are easily creased, such as fabrics consisting of filament acetate, heavy filament nylon, or cotton duck. They are also convenient for small dye lots and for sampling purposes. 

In InP Zn samples purposely neutralized by hydrogen, a sharp vibrational line is observed at LHeT at 2287.7 cm-1 shifting to 1664.5 cm-1 in deuterated samples (Pajot et al., 1989). The r-factor for these lines (1.3744) and the frequencies indicate that P—H or P—D bonds have been formed and that the neutralizing complex is presumably (P—H Zn).

The AQL is the maximum percentage of defectives which for sampling purposes can be considered as the process average. With a variable quality of supplies, and over a period of many successive deliveries, the long-term average quality of accepted batches will be equal to or better than the AQL. 

Examples of strata determined by other criteria include sampling of biota for bioaccumulated contaminant content using species, or size (perhaps size class), or age (perhaps age class), or determinants such as sex, or reproductive status, or the assignment of specific organs or tissues as strata for sampling purposes.

For sampling purposes, direct injection of blood through a self-sealing rubber stopper is not recommended because many volatile organic compounds can penetrate rubber stoppers, thus affording possible contamination from the surrounding atmosphere.
