Russia, chemical weapons in

As events have shown, the destruction of CW stockpiles is an extremely complicated mission in both its social and technical aspects. It is very important to the world community that Russia carry out provisions of the Convention on CW destruction. 

Making use of bilateral and multilateral international contacts, as well as its own experience, the Russian Federation has persistently searched for acceptable ways of solving the remarkably complicated problems in this sphere. 

The Russian Federation s international obligations in the sphere of CW destruction presuppose that we have the required financial and material resources, the proper production base, infrastructure, and specialists to carry out safely the technological processes of chemical agent detoxification.
