Rubidium selenates

Kadoshnikova, Deichman, and Tananaev [77KAD/DEI] determined the solubility of Rb2Se04(cr) in water at 298.15 K to be 5.448 mol-kg . Vojtisek and Ebert [87VOJ/EBE2] report 5.20 mol kg for the same datum. This value is confirmed in [2003BAR/CHR] and the review selects  [Pg.427]

Barkov, Christov, and Ojkova [2003BAR/CHR] determined the solubility product of  [Pg.428]

The data yield 5°(Rb2Se04, cr, 298.15 K) = (232.3 9.0) J-K -moP. This entropy value appears to be too large compared with the accepted value for K2Se04(cr) (202.1 1 1.0) J-K-moP, and Cs2Se04(cr), (220.71 13.2) J-K-moP, for reasons that cannot be settled with the experimental information at hand. The values selected are thus  [Pg.428]

It is evident that telluric acid is notably different from what might be expected by analogy with sulphuric and selenic acids. One is hardly surprised, therefore, that isomorphism is exceedingly rare between the tellurates and the sulphates or selenates.3 The tellurates do not form alums, they do not as a rule form mixed crystals with the sulphates or selenates, the only fairly satisfactory case of mixed-crystal formation being with rubidium hydrogen sulphate and rubidium hydrogen tellurate. [Pg.388]

Rubidium tdlurates.—The normal tellwrate, Rb2Te04,3H20, and the primary tellurate, 2RbHTe04,H20, are prepared like the corresponding selenates, but do not appear to be isomorphous with them.8... [Pg.196]

The normal sulphates and selenates of the alkali-metals, R2S[Se]04, where R represents potassium, rubidium, or caesium, form excellent crystals belonging to the rhombic system and these salts furnish one... [Pg.227]

Double Copper Selenates.—Tutton11 has investigated the crystallographic properties of double selenates of the series R2Se04,CuSe04,6H20, R representing potassium, rubidium, caesium, or ammonium. They are isomorphous with the monoclinic double salts formed by cupric sulphate with the sulphates of potassium, rubidium, caesium, and ammonium.12... [Pg.283]
